What happened to web mail December 12th 2024?

For the past 20+ years Total Access has subscribed to a license from the same mail server vender. As email clients have continued to evolve the vendor has opted not to continue to update the mail server software to incorporate new features and this is causing some incompatibility issues with several customers email programs and handheld devices. In order to continue to offer the highest quality service possible we have decided to purchase licensing for a modern mail server suite and are migrating all our accounts to that new software.

As a result of this migration you may have to update some of your mail server settings and bookmarks. No email addresses or passwords will change and all mail stored in your mailboxes will be transferred to the new system. This transfer will also include your customization settings like trusted senders, blocked senders, and contact lists.

If you need access to any email that was previously retrieved, and stored, by the legacy web mail system, prior to our migration December 12th 2024, it is still available here:

Please note that the legacy system has been left in place while we work with the vendor to migrate the remaining mail that is stored there to the new system. This is estimated to be active until February of 2025 at which time it will officially be retired and turned off. If migration takes longer, the legacy system will be left online longer.

New email past 12 December 2024 will not be delivered to the legacy system and users should not send any new email using that system - it should only be utilized to pull up mail stored in the mailbox prior to 12 December 2024.
